This event will include a sampling of fine wines, micro brews from Dragonmead Brewery, and gourmet hors d’oeuvres from Zuccaro’s Catering and Pier III Restaurant and Catering. The ticket price of $40 per person - with a buy four, get one free option - also includes admission to any movie showing between 5:30 and 10 p.m. Sponsorships are available.

Founded in 1993, The Resolution Center is a nonprofit organization offering mediation services by trained volunteers. The center is one of 20 community-based mediation centers in Michigan and ranks third in the state for the number of mediations handled. In 2007, the center handled more than 800 mediations and served more than 2,600 individuals.

Honorary chairperson for the event is Macomb County Probate Court Administrator Donald Housey. Housey was the founding president of the center’s Board of Trustees and served for 15 years on the board. He is currently a director emeritus.

The Resolution Center will also honor Robert Campbell, volunteer mediator, with the organization’s Volunteer of the Year Award. Campbell, of Clinton Township, is being recognized for his dedication and commitment to The Resolution Center.
